Who is ChildFund?

ChildFund is a charity removing the barriers that prevent children from reaching their full potential. By partnering with local communities in the Pacific, ChildFund delivers practical solutions for clean water, nutrition, and education, empowering children to succeed and create better futures for themselves, their families and their communities.

Why Clean Water Matters

Right now, children in remote Pacific communities face daily challenges due to limited access to clean water. Many miss school because they spend hours collecting water each day, and others because they’re sick from drinking unsafe water. Tragically, too many children even lose their lives to waterborne diseases.

This is entirely preventable. Together, we can fix this.

Right now, ChildFund is delivering life-changing water projects in the Solomon Islands and Kiribati, and extending their work across the Pacific to some of the most remote islands:

  • In the Solomon Islands, ChildFund is rehabilitating existing water infrastructure to ensure communities have reliable access to clean, safe drinking water in their villages
  • In Kiribati, ChildFund is installing water distillation tanks in schools and medical centres, ensuring children and families have access to clean water every day.
